Cafe 'Florian'
The oldest cafe in the city and situated on the Piazza San Marco and has been the meeting-place and rendez-vous of artists and poets, writers and politicians.
The prices are very high but it's worth a visit.

Harry’s Dolci
Only open in the summerseason so that the weather allows you to enjoy your dinner on the huge terraces overlooking Zattere and the boats passing by on the canals. A chance to discover the Giudecca island. Have your lunch here for instance (fine club sandwiches).

Do Forni
Right in the historic heart (in a small alley) of Venice you'll find one of the city's most exclusive restaurants. The restaurant is divided into two separate rooms: one decorated in the style of the Orient Express and a very Italian style restaurant at the back. The house drink is Prosecco with fresh strawberry mousse.

Al Vagon
Venetian cuisine based on fish and shellfish. You can eat outsite under the arches, facing the canal near the Santissimi Apostoli bridge. At the Rialto Cà D'oro water-bus stop.
