Venice hosts one of the best carnivals in the world. This occurs sometime during February. People dress up and their costumes are wonderful (in the afternoon they pose for photos on the St. Mark's Square). In this period there are also many activities going on.

Venice card   Venice card
With this card you have unlimited travel on the public transportation (also the Vaporetto). It can be bought for 1, 3 or 7 days and is available in a blue version (includes public transport and toilets) or the orange version (includes also museums). The card must be reserved at least 48 hours before arrival. So order it online at the official Venice Card Website.
