Los Caracoles
Slightly touristy but a very nice Spanish style restaurant in the old part of town. You reach your table by dodging flying pots and pans in the kitchen and big wine-casks along the walls.
Located just of the Ramblas, take the port on your left hand side.

Les Quatre Gats
This cafe was founded in 1897. Picasso designed the first menu and came often to this place. The tilework and other decorations in this cosy cafe/restaurant are really beautiful (even the toilet is worth a visit!).
